News and Events:
Winter weather continues to hang around The Beast, with more flurries expected Tuesday. More than 90% of Killington terrain is open for skiing and riding this week and that means more than 1420 acres of terrain; the most skiing and riding in the East.
68 trails are on the grooming plan for Tuesday including easier terrain at Snowshed and Ramshed like Terrain Based Learning, plus more challenging runs like Swirl and Superstar. Mogul fans will find seeded bump venues on Outer Limits and Mouse Trap as well as on natural terrain trails like Ovation, Double Dipper and Upper Wildfire, which the grooming team will avoided. Key lifts are scheduled from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
As a spring bonus, key lifts* will operate until 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays, weather permitting, so you can enjoy the late afternoon sunshine. As the season winds down and Superstar Express is the only lift operating, we will run it until 5:00 p.m. on each day that it scheduled.
The Bear Mountain Superpipe got a fresh cut Monday night, plus weve got more than 100 jumps, jibs, boxes, and rails, plus a Mininpipe, ready to shred in our 5 unique parks. Get the lowdown.
Killington tickets and passes are always valid at Pico Mountain so be sure to check out our friendly sister just a few minutes west. Combined, the two resorts currently offer more than 80 miles of open terrain which is, by far, the most in the East. Get the details at picomountain.com.
*Lifts scheduled until 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays, conditions permitting: North Ridge Triple, K-1 Express, Snowdon Quad, Superstar Express, Ramshead Express, Snowshed Express, Bear Mountain Quad, Northbrook Quad, Sunrise Village Triple, Skyeship Stage 1 and 2, Skye Peak Express.
