 Just came down from the roof of the office in Valdez tonight at midnight. Although it took a latter to get up to the second story level to shovel the weighty load from the roof, when finished we had the privilege of simply walking off the 22 foot building back to the tunnel of a front door!!!

Valdez has received over 425 inches of snow so far this season. That is, in town and @ sea level!
We at Valdez Heli-Camps are just completing our first week of operations for 2005 and have not seen snow like this since 1989 when the town saw a record 589 inches over the season and the Chugach elevations harboring over 1000 Inches. Needless to say we are skiing Landing Zones and Faces we have not accessed in years!
We still have 7 seats available this week, with arrivals on the 26th 27th or March 2nd for our 3, 4, or 6-day 7-night all-inclusive stays!
