 Although the Labor Day weekend typically marks the end of summer, Seven Springs Mountain Resort is offering plenty of fun with one more chance to celebrate the season, Aug. 31 – Sept. 2!
 It all kicks off Fri., Aug. 31, with a Bavarian Beach party featuring entertainment by Backstreets Unplugged from 7 – 11 p.m. on the outdoor patio lounge. Be sure to find a cozy spot to watch the fantastic fireworks display scheduled to light up the night sky at 9:30 p.m. The party continues in the Matterhorn Lounge with entertainment by Mr. Bickle beginning at 9:45 p.m. Overnight guests will receive a very special 10 percent discount on the extravagant King Neptune’s Seafood Buffet.
The fun continues on Saturday! Golfers, think you have what it takes to beat a former Pittsburgh Steeler on the links? Louis Lipps and Edmund Nelson will be on the course for “Beat the Pro.” Back at the resort, we will have plenty of fun and games for the entire family including a variety of games like a water balloon toss to keep you laughing.
Dinnertime! A traditional backyard barbecue will be served on the Bavarian Beach patio from 5:30 - 7 p.m. Saturday evening. Make your reservations today at 800-452-2223, extension 6000. After dinner, load the family up for a hayride to the top of the mountain for a campfire. Don’t worry! We’ll pack hot dogs, drinks and all of the ingredients for s’mores.
Louis Lipps and Edmund Nelson are pulling double duty Sunday! They’ll be helping out in the Bavarian Lounge from 11 a.m. until noon before refereeing the Black and Gold Kids Games beginning at 1:30 p.m. After all the action, enjoy the finger-lickin’ good Wings and Ribs Buffet from 4 – 6 p.m. in the Slopeside Dining Room.
Join us Sunday as Seven Springs welcomes hot country recording group Diamond Rio! Since the band’s creation in 1984, the members of Diamond Rio have racked up 13 Grammy nominations, 15 consecutive Country Music Association nominations for Vocal Group of the Year, won the Academy of Country Music’s award for Top Vocal Group twice and took home the Country Music Association’s award for Vocal Group of the Year four times.
Opening for Diamond Rio is Pittsburgh’s own singing sensation Alli Gillis. The concert, held at Grey Rocks Amphitheatre, begins at 6 p.m. – gate opens at 5 p.m. Get your tickets today before they are sold out!
